Back in May, we showed you an exclusive preview of “Fame: Lady Gaga,” the comic book biography of MTV’s 2009 Woman Of the Year.
Published by Bluewater Comics, the issue performed well enough to merit an encore performance, igniting controversy and creating quite a bit of buzz — just like the musician herself. This November, the publisher sends “Fame: Lady Gaga” back to the shelves with a new comic focusing more on her career instead of her personal life and impact on the cultural landscape.
Still, the comic promises to feature “all the hairstyles, stage blood, drama and costumes that make Lady Gaga impossible to ignore.”
Written by CW Cooke with art by Dan Glasl, the 32-page comic hits shelves in November. We’ve posted the full text of the announcement below:
Lady GaGa debuts a brandnew song yesterday night,while her performance at the ‘Monster Ball’ in St. Paul.Its a nice ballad, based in piano play and its called ‘Living On The Radio’.We dont know yet if its going to be included in Lady GaGa’s new album,but why not?!?Anyways,listen to it and be sure you let us a comment…
It has been confirmed by Ocesa, an official concert organiser in Mexico and Ticketmaster Mexico, that Lady GaGa will perform in Mexico in May 2011. The dates are below:
May 3: Estadio 3 de Marzo, Guadalajara, Jalisco
May 5: Foro Sol, México, D.F.

DREAMOFGAGA.COM, had the huge pleasure to interview one of the biggest ever photographers, Derrick Santini (DS), about his work with Lady GaGa. As you will probably know, he had photoshooted Lady GaGa,back in 2009,and we all remember that that photoshoot was one of Lady Gaga’s best. 1)What is the best moment of the day?
‘no it was the magazine.’
‘when ever gaga stepped in front of my camera …’
2)What kind of music do you listen to at the moment?
‘Alternative … as a genre that most suits…’
3)Do you read fashion and design magazines?
‘not really any regular anymore… now its all on line’
4)What kind of clothes do you avoid wearing?
‘synthetic / flouro / leather shoes with jeans a big no no’
5)Where do you work on your photographic projects?
‘every where – where ever’
6)Who would you like to photograph most?
‘Marilyn Monroe – i wish… Beyonce, Jonny Depp, Angelina Jolie, Nicole Kidman….’
7)Do you discuss or exchange ideas with your colleagues?
‘yes all the time .. communication is key .. art is no bubble…’
8 )Please tell us more about photography.
‘i love it ..i was lucky – u make your own though, i got into it when i was 14 and it became my world, i love people too if that wasnt evident…’
9)Which of your projects has given you the most satisfaction?
‘i am happiest when shooting so they all bring great satisfaction, but the more involved the projects the better, the most recent Firetrap campaign i shot came out a treat, i just did a wicked shoot for a new artist on Sony called Rita Ora … u heard it here first if you havnt heard of her already she is going to be HUGE – Beyonce came down to the studio and hung out – sweet. There are also a few fashion stories i love as well because of the concept and realization. Shooting ‘reportage’ images is a timeless singular satisfaction at the root of my love of photography, just observing and capturing vignettes of life and this reality informs all facets of photography i do’
10)Are there any photographers that you particularly appreciate?
‘For Sure… Richard Avedon, Helmut Newton, Walker Evans, Robert Frank, Gary Winnogrand, early David Bailey’
11)How would you describe Lady GaGa in 1 word?
‘Wicked…’
12)Would you like to work with Lady GaGa again in the future?Cause we all know that you are such an amazing photographer.
‘Defo Defo…’
13)When you met and saw her for first time?
‘it was a couple of years ago and in London I never heard anything about her when i got the commisiion – but i did a bit of research but it didnt prepare me for he.’
14)You feelings and thoughts when u met her (GaGa)?
‘A star was the the first and lasting vibe about her – she’s on it… i think she gave the stylist a run for her money but she was a real pro in front of the camera and just worked it – she has a wonderful aloof air about her – a big part of her star appeal along with her intreaging beauty and overt sexuality – a dream to photograph.’

The SCISSOR SISTERS are set to thrill fans with their next project – they’ve recruited pop superstar LADY GAGA for a guest appearance, according to a report.
Frontman Jake Shears approached the singer about teaming up in the studio after they met at Sir Elton John’s White Tie and Tiara Ball in June (10).
The Poker Face hitmaker agreed to work with the band – and now the stars are in the final stages of negotiations for the upcoming collaboration, according to Britain’s Mail on Sunday.
A source tells the publication, “Jake has performed with huge stars like Kylie (Minogue). He is desperate for the union with Lady Gaga to go ahead. He was concerned Lady Gaga might decide against it but he has been reassured that the collaboration will happen in some way, shape or form.”
Lance Chung is gaga for Lady Gaga, but letting go a pair of his own tickets for Friday night’s big concert was worth it, he says.
Chung gave up the tickets — worth $250 — to Kathy Chia, a 22-year-old student from the University of Alberta, as part of a contest he launched after his mother Helena, 49, was diagnosed with stage three multiple myeloma.
It’s the most severe stage of an incurable cancer of plasma blood cells affecting the immune system.
“It was hard for me on Friday and Thursday night because everyone’s Facebook status was buzzing about the concert,” said Chung, a University of Alberta business school student who dropped out of the last semester of his third year of classes to help his mother.

Madame Tussauds is reportedly creating a waxwork of Lady GaGa and is allowing fans to suggest what the model will wear.
According to MTV, the figure should be ready by the end of the year in museums around the world.
A spokesperson encouraged “little monsters”to visit NYCwax.com in order to have their say on the waxwork’s clothes.
The representative said: “We’re open to hearing from fans about which looks they want.”
It was previously reported that GaGa’s model would be in every Madame Tussauds but it has since emerged that it will be in “many” of them rather than all.
