Madonna has recently went on ABC and Graham Norton interviews, and has been posed with the same question, though differently structured, twice. That question, which has been getting the Internet talking ever since Gaga's debut in 2008, is what Madonna herself thinks about Gaga. In response to an ABC interviewer, whom posed the following question, "What do you think about Lady Gaga and do you feel she's copying you?", Madonna promptly replied, "Well, I certainly think she references me a lot in her work. Sometimes I think it's amusing, flattering, and well done." NewYorkMagazine.com-Instead of penning her fifth V column for this month's music issue, "Lady Gaga lets the designers of her most recent collaborations do the talking," according to the magazine. This means that Giorgio Armani, Manish Arora, and Karl Lagerfeld each submitted "notes" about making outfits for Gaga (and Karl, as usual, submitted a nice autographed sketch).

Gaga has had an amazing and yet hectic year in 2011. She released her smash record 'Born This Way', which went on to become the 2nd best-selling album of the year, placed right after Adele's '21'. However, despite her overwhelming schedule, she never did forget to take time off to lend a hand to people in need. She released 'Born This Way', Billboard Hot 100's 1000th chart topper, which eventually became the gay anthem of the year. Additionally, she raised awareness towards bullying and took to the White House to discuss the serious issue. Earlier on, she worked with her mother Cynthia to launch the Born This Way Foundation, which aims to support and pledge equality. All these led to Gaga topping the DoSomething.org's list of Charitable Celebrities of the Year, and unsurprisingly, Gaga takes the title for the 2nd year in a row.

You might say that Lady Gaga's year really began in an egg. That's how she arrived at the Grammys in February, encased in a large, translucent pod carried by scantily clad dancers. When she "hatched" onstage, she effectively gave birth to "Born This Way," performing the eponymous lead single of her second studio album and anthem to self-acceptance. In 2011, the album would carry her around the world, where she rarely went unnoticed. After a year of extravagant globe-trotting and relentless advocacy of tolerance, Lady Gaga has been voted Entertainer of the Year by members of The Associated Press. There were 135 ballots submitted by U.S. news organizations that make up the AP's membership.
