What's Lady Gaga planning? Apparently, something bigger than FACEBOOK and GOOGLE. The new offering is called "BACKPLANE," with a website of www.littlemonsters.com, and it's expected to file its IPO soon. BUSINESSINSIDER reports "The LADY GAGA-funded start-up just came out of its super-secretive mode with the launch of its beta site LITTLE MONSTERS.

BACKPLANE hopes to give celebrities the chance to interact more intimately with fans then they could on FACEBOOK or TWITTER. The sites are also supposed to help fans create and share content." Co-founder JOEY PRIMIANI told BUSINESSINSIDER

"I'm all about starting this movement. I love technology and love good design. We definitely have an amazing opportunity here to have millions of users — the most amount of users per employee. We are going to be bigger than FACEBOOK and GOOGLE some day."

Google.Blog-After claiming the top spot on Twitter and Facebook with maximum number of followers, Lady Gaga has now joined Google+. Since long, speculations have been doing the rounds regarding Lady Gaga joining the Google network.

A feature of the Google Plus, “Search Plus Your World”, is said to be the motivation behind Lady Gaga joining the Google+. In this feature, one can select a circle and he or she get to contact the people in that circle as well as celebrities who are from the same genre. Lady Gaga has joined the likes of Britney Spears and Snoop Dogg, who have already made their presence felt on Google+.

Gaga has had an amazing and yet hectic year in 2011. She released her smash record 'Born This Way', which went on to become the 2nd best-selling album of the year, placed right after Adele's '21'. However, despite her overwhelming schedule, she never did forget to take time off to lend a hand to people in need. She released 'Born This Way', Billboard Hot 100's 1000th chart topper, which eventually became the gay anthem of the year. Additionally, she raised awareness towards bullying and took to the White House to discuss the serious issue. Earlier on, she worked with her mother Cynthia to launch the Born This Way Foundation, which aims to support and pledge equality. All these led to Gaga topping the DoSomething.org's list of Charitable Celebrities of the Year, and unsurprisingly, Gaga takes the title for the 2nd year in a row.

Gaga’s latest album Born This Way, which has spawned the hits Born This Way and Judas, was released on May 23 globally and has already sold over 1.5 million albums and 5.5 million singles worldwide. In India too, the album has hit Gold status within just six weeks of release on physical format.

The Indian version of the new album Born This Way includes the Born This Way – Indian Mix, which is remixed by Salim-Sulaiman.

Also,guess who is giving competition to Anna Hazare ahead of Independence Day? Believe it or not, it is international pop queen Lady Gaga. Lady Gaga has once again topped her very own Twitter record, reaching 12 million monsters on the social network, Twitter. Previously, Gaga was the first person ever to reach 6, 7, 8, 9, 10, and 11 million followers on the website. Gaga has also more than 40 million Facebook fan "likes". After Lady Gaga spotted Maria Aragon, a talented 10 year old girl who makes covers and posts them on YouTube, the girl has seemingly shot up to fame after Gaga tweeted her video a few months ago. Her cover of 'Born This Way' went viral, attracting more than 2 million hits in its first day of being uploaded. In a Toronto concert of the Monster Ball early this year (March), Maria was invited on stage to sing 'Born This Way' with Gaga herself, and also made television appearances on The Ellen DeGeneres Show in Los Angeles and Good Morning America in New York, recently singing O Canada for Prince William and his wife Kate Middleton for a crowd of over 300,000 at a Canada Day celebration in Ottawa earlier this month.

After all the recognition, Maria has finally secured a record deal with Star Records of the Philippines. Congratulations, Maria!

Lady Gaga's website has been hacked, and the personal details of many little monsters have been stolen by SwagSec hackers. Names and e-mail addresses were recorded down, but according to Gaga, no financial data has been lost to the hackers. Passwords were also retained and weren't in hands of the hackers.

Gaga's website was hacked on June 27th unknowingly, with the hackers stealing details of many fans worldwide. Universal Music responded promptly to this issue, "We take this very seriously and have put in place additional measures to protect personally identifiable information … There were no passwords or financial information taken."
