Google.Blog-After claiming the top spot on Twitter and Facebook with maximum number of followers, Lady Gaga has now joined Google+. Since long, speculations have been doing the rounds regarding Lady Gaga joining the Google network.

A feature of the Google Plus, “Search Plus Your World”, is said to be the motivation behind Lady Gaga joining the Google+. In this feature, one can select a circle and he or she get to contact the people in that circle as well as celebrities who are from the same genre. Lady Gaga has joined the likes of Britney Spears and Snoop Dogg, who have already made their presence felt on Google+.

Madonna has recently went on ABC and Graham Norton interviews, and has been posed with the same question, though differently structured, twice. That question, which has been getting the Internet talking ever since Gaga's debut in 2008, is what Madonna herself thinks about Gaga. In response to an ABC interviewer, whom posed the following question, "What do you think about Lady Gaga and do you feel she's copying you?", Madonna promptly replied, "Well, I certainly think she references me a lot in her work. Sometimes I think it's amusing, flattering, and well done." She also acknowledged Born This Way – Express Yourself comparisons, saying she recognized similarities between the two songs when she heard it on air.

Lady Gaga has confirmed that she will release a new album later in 2012.The singer, whose second album 'Born This Way' came out in May last year, said she is planning a full tour as well.

Speaking to The Insider, Gaga said:

"I just want to keep going. I'm not as goal obsessed as I am process obsessed. I just want to keep writing music. I'm looking forward to putting out another album and going on tour.I feel very blessed to be an artist who gets to make a living doing from what I love."
