Lady Gaga’s Applause, from her upcoming album ARTPOP, has been deemed a “flop” and “underperformance” by many critics and even some fans. However, the situation has turned out to be the complete opposite. Applause has slowly but steadily become Gaga’s 3rd biggest radio hit in the United States, being beaten only by her career-defining hits, Bad Romance and Poker Face.
