‘Venus’ single is coming two days earlier, than the scheduled date

Lady Gaga’s second single, Venus, off the upcoming album ARTPOP is coming earlier than expected.

Originally scheduled for Sunday, October 27, the track will now premiere on Friday, October 25.On Tuesday Gaga tweeted the new release date and teased the premiere of a snippet from another track, Do What You Want, featuring R Kelly (and produced by DJWS, who called the song his “greatest achievement in life“). According to Gaga, a clip from the song will be used in a Beats By Dre commercial, due out Thursday October 17.

Gaga has a long standing relationship with the Beats By Dre brand, having featured the company’s headphones in her Fame-era videos for Just Dance and Nothing Else I Can Say in 2009. She also created her own “Heartbeats” headphones for the brand which were featured in the video for Bad Romance.
