Lady Gaga and her mother are hosting the Born This Way Foundation charity launch which is now giving more members and supporters an opportunity to watch the charity's unveiling live.
And with just a week away the foundation is getting set to reveal more about the aims and ambitions of the charity at the launch event… As well as Lady Gaga the Born This Way Foundation presentation will also involve one of America's most inspirational women, Oprah Winfrey… A woman who's commitment to doing good with her work as a talk-show host, actress, businesswoman and philanthropist is the stuff of legend…
Lady Gaga and her mother Cynthia Germanotta will be joined on stage by Oprah Winfrey, as well as author Deepak Chopra, US Secretary of Health and Human Services Secretary Kathleen Sebelius – plus Harvard Law School professor Charles Ogletree. The panel will discuss the vision of the organisation, as well as how supporters can get involved… Lady Gaga's diversity and acceptance charity the Born This Way Foundation has partnered with the John D and Catherine T MacArthur Foundation, The California Endowment and The Berkman Center at Harvard and will be launched on Wednesday February 29, 2012. The singer and her mother Cynthia Germanotta say they will officially reveal the Born This Way Foundation at Harvard University in Cambridge, Massachusetts. The build-up so far has been very passionate, talking up the charity's aims of empowering youth, and promoting acceptance, tolerance, diversity and difference in society. In a message sent out to supporters of the new charity, Cynthia Germanotta, President and Co-Founder of the Born This Way Foundation says: "Excitement for the launch event is growing, but even with such special guests, the day wouldn't be complete without our supporters from all over the world…" The launch of Lady Gaga's Born This Way Foundation charity will be at Harvard University's Sanders Theatre with Oprah Winfrey there to help the panel discuss how the charity will move forward towards its goals… Along with Lady Gaga and Oprah Winfrey as well as the esteemed professionals at the event… Lady Gaga's mum is also promising many other special guests…
