Lady Gaga scheduled to perform at the ‘Pre-Grammy’ Gala

timthumb.phpSinger and songwriter Carole King is set to titled as the 'Person of the Year' at the MusiCares Foundation’s annual Pre-Grammy gala. Performers at the all-star benefit — which in recent years has honored Bruce Springsteen, Paul McCartney and Barbra Streisand — are to include Lady Gaga, Bette Midler, the Dixie Chicks, Steven Tyler, Jason Mraz and King's longtime friend and collaborator James Taylor.

Additional artists are expected to join the roster in the coming months.

01~329Lady Gaga will grace the upcoming October issue of ELLE, appearing on not just the US issue but also the UK issue. The pop queen was recently appointed the cover girl of V Magazine and has taken on yet another magazine in promotion for her new album, ARTPOP.

The magazine scans illustrate a softer side to Gaga, showing off a more stripped down, sexy chic look. It follows the minimalistic look Gaga is trying to achieve with the ARTPOP promo images – in spite of the performances still being controversial and extravagant.
