The 42-year-old pop princess – who is set to release her latest studio album ‘Aphrodite’ this summer – stated she thinks the quirky ‘Bad Romance’ hitmaker has helped to make dance music more popular in the US.
She said:
“She’s like a meteor that just came from outer space and landed on the pop landscape. And just . there was dust in everyone’s face.
“I think it’s amazing. She’s largely responsible along with others who have brought dance to the kind of mainstream or pop arena in the States.
“She’s incredibly talented. She’s an absolute force to be reckoned with and I’m a great admirer.”
