Lady Gaga stole the spotlight at Hillary Clinton’s last campaign stop in Raleigh, North Carolina, leading the midnight rally with a rousing call to action and performance.
Wearing the same jacket Michael Jackson wore when he met President George H.W. Bush at the White House in 1990, the pop diva spoke fiercely on Clinton’s behalf for over five minutes, pledging her support for the former secretary of state, commending her decades of public service, and asking the audience to see Trump’s followers as potential allies.
“Hillary Clinton is made of steel. Hillary Clinton is unstoppable. And watching what [Trump] has done to us, I can promise that she will protect us, not only on the outside, but on the inside as well.”
