Joe Biden described Lady Gaga as a courageous and inspirational "survivor" of sexual assault. The current Vice President will be joined by the singer for is It's On Us campaign in Las Vegas on April 7, which aims to bring awareness of and collective responsibility to the rising number of campus assaults in the US. At the Academy Awards last month, Gaga was introduced by Biden as she took to the stage to perform her Oscar-nominated song Til It Happens To You , which featured in 2015 documentary The Hunting Ground.
